More "Dreadful" Dates

Hope went looking for Bo on the island, when he told her to stay put. She was caught by Ernesto and no one knew it. He gathered Julie, John (who was Roman), Isabella, and Bo in a room. He told them he had a magic show. In the room was a gigantic vat of acid and this huge covered cage contraption over it. When Ernesto removed the cover, there was Hope locked in the cage. He told them it was the last time they would see Hope. Bo pleaded for him to let her go and take him, but Ernesto refused. Ernesto told Hope to say goodbye to her family because they were going on a trip. He also told Bo not to come near the cage and try to save her because he would drop her in. She told everyone goodbye and then gave a special goodbye to Bo. As Bo ran to save her, Ernesto gave a magic word and there was an explosion. When the smoke cleared she was gone and the cage was broken.

1994
A woman resembling Hope was living at Maison Blanche when many Salemites visited the plantation in 1994. The woman had amnesia, but was eventually proven to be Hope. In 1998, it was revealed that Hope never fell into the acid. At the last minute, Greta, an actress, took her place in the cage and was the one who was burned.

When Jude found out that Hope was an undercover cop trying to bring his shady club down in Salem, Jude took advantage of the fact that Hope was presumed dead in an avalanche. He rescued her, took her to a cabin outside of Aremid where he nursed her back to health, only planning to rape her for revenge.

1996
She was later rescued by Bo, not before he was shot by Jude.

1999
Princess Gina decided to go to Salem and live life as Hope so she could marry Bo. She nearly succeeded, but on New Years Eve, her cover was blown and she was shot by Bo and later died.

2000
Hope wasn't really dead. Greta revealed that the dead woman was really her mother, Princess Gina. The search began for Hope, who was later found in the turret of Gina's castle along with Stefano.

Kidnapped by Larry and presumed dead after her bloody sweater was found

2002
Bo finally put the pieces together and Hope was found by Bo on Fancy Face 2. In a struggle, Larry was shot but was wearing a bullet proof vest and was thrown over board.

Patrick and Hope went off to find Jennifer in a plane. Their plane was struck by a missle and it crashed over the ocean. They swam to the same island where the Salemites were stranded, so the people in the real Salem believed them to be dead.

Stefano's brainwashing
She was presumed dead after Ernesto's magic trick, but was held by Stefano who brainwashed her, taking away all of her memories. He implanted the memories of Princess Gina Von Amberg. When Hope was located at Mainson Blanche, she had no memory of Bo or her son.
