Hope was taken by the "Dragon" in England a couple of days before her and Bo's wedding. In May of '85. he took her to a dungeon in part of his castle. I think that would be a kidnapping. He left her there, but she escaped and jumped into the moat.

Steve grabbed her off the street when she was posing as a missionary. Bo had left her alone to meet with Shane, and Steve grabbed her from behind. He took her back to his hotel room, acted like he was going to rape her, then tied her to a chair and pretended that he had acid hanging over her head. He said that if she moved a muscle the acid would spill on her face. He then put a gag in her mouth so that when Bo found her she couldn't cry out about the acid, and when he went to untie her it would spill all over her. Bo and Shane rescued her and it turned out it was just a trick and it was only water.

Ernesto captured Hope and performed a magic trick that made it look like Hope had died falling into a vat of acid. However, he kept her and later transferred her to Stefano DiMera, who began keeping her at Maison Blanche. We didn't see Hope again until 1994.

Hope was doing a regular beat cop/stakeout at an abandoned warehouse when the two guys she was actually looking for kidnapped her and tied her to a chair. They were referred to as the computer thugs because they had knocked over a computer store. She ended up sweet talking one of them, and he untied her, only for the other one to come back in, and find what was going on. He tied her to a pole, and she managed to get free when they weren't in the room. She got to a phone and called Abe's office. Shawn-D answered, because he was sitting in Abe's office while Abe and Bo were talking about Hope's disappearence. Hope tried to give Shawn-D her location, but as soon as she was about to, one of the computer heist guys hit her over the head. They then used her own handcuffs to cuff her to the pipe, and she was helpless. Bo showed up on Shawn-D's tip, dressed like a bum. He jumped through the window, and the guys ran out, caught by the police, but before they were caught, one of them threw a cigarette onto a pile of blankets which incidentally caught fire. Bo raced to get Hope's cuffs off, he ended up picking the lock. This incident was the end of Billie, because she showed up at the scene as Bo was trying to save Hope's life, and he was yelling, "Don't leave me Fancy Face! You can't leave me, now. I need you!"

1996

When Jude found out that Hope was an undercover cop trying to bring his shady club down in Salem, Jude took advantage of the fact that Hope was presumed dead in an avalanche. He rescued her, took her to a cabin outside of Aremid where he nursed her back to health, only planning to rape her for revenge. She was later rescued by Bo, not before he was shot by Jude.

1999

Princess Gina/Kurt Schwengle
Princess Gina decided to go to Salem and live life as Hope so she could marry Bo. She nearly succeeded, but on New Years Eve, her cover was blown and she was shot by Bo. The search began for Hope, who was later found in the turret of Gina's castle along with Stefano.

Larry Welch
Hope and Zack were headed home from Iowa, after visiting JT. Larry kept them in a cell and consulted with Billie Reed, who was apparently working with him. Bo rescued them after putting the pieces together and finding Hope's clues.
